Big hearted Runcorn residents helped Council workers raised more than £500 at a MacMillan Coffee Morning on Friday at Castlefields Community Centre.
Events were different this year, because of Covid restrictions, and it was ‘take away’ and ‘cake away’ only.
Centre Manager Alison Watson said: “As ever, the people of Castlefields have really supported this event.
“Local residents have been very generous with contributing to this cause. Let’s hope we can have a more ‘normal’ one next year!”
