Halton Borough Council has organised a Family Christmas Party at Murdishaw Community Centre on Wednesday 19 December, from 5pm to 7pm, with music and games, face painting.

It will include a visit from Father Christmas with a gift for every child attending. So not ideal for the ‘Claus’-trophobics!

Did you know that Santa’s not allowed to go down the community centre chimney this year to get there. It was declared unsafe by ‘Elf and Safety’. Tickets are on sale now at £1.50 for adults and £3 for children.

Pop into the centre or call 0151 511 7910. The centre will be suitably decorated and music/games in keeping with the festive time of year. There will be plenty of photo ops, so bring your phone or Pole-aroid.

* How do you know when Santa arrives? You will be able to sense his ‘presents’.
