Hundreds of residents of all ages supported a family event in Runcorn on Wednesday.
There was archery, birds of prey and cakes, even The Studio Samba Band. What wasn’t there to love about this annual family event held at Halton Borough Council’s Murdishaw Community Centre?
Admission was FREE and there was music, games and entertainment, bouncy castle, face painting and pop corn! There were various stalls, real dairy ice cream on sale plus tasty snacks from the café too.
Cllrs Martha & Peter Lloyd Jones were in charge of the tombola stall, Cllrs Dave & Ellen Cargill took care of the raffle with Cllr Ron Hignett and John Stockton on hand to assist!
Particularly popular was Dennis, a friendly 35-year-old European Eagle Owl and the home made cakes from Halton Village WI!
