The Brindley Theatre Runcorn is looking forward to welcoming you back for its packed programme of events this Spring and Summer.
The award-winning venue, which recently hosted a sold-out six night residency by Gary Barlow, once again has something for everyone.
Halton Borough Council’s Executive Board Member for community and Culture, Cllr Paul Nolan, said: “The Brindley really is a jewel in the crown of Halton, with such a wide range of entertainment of our doorstep.”
If you are already missing the pantomime, the wonderful Easter panto Wizard of Oz stars Brindley pantomime favourites Andrew Curphey and Rebecca Lake along with Coronations Street’s Bruce Jones and children’s TV star Amy Thompson from Milkshake.
The show runs from 11 – 13 April.
There are more great family shows with the animated children’s TV favourite Fireman Sam Live! In August, and the brand new, exciting and educational show Exciting Science that will amaze and astound all ages from 4 years and upwards with fun and fact filled experiments on 5 April.
From the world of music, the legendary Steve Harley from Cockney Rebel with appear with his acoustic band on Saturday 26 March playing hits such as Mr Soft, Judy Teen and the classic number on Make Me Smile.
Sixties legends Herman’s Hermits, The Manfreds and The Foundations all visit the Brindley this year performing such hits as There’s a Kind of Hush, Do Wah Diddy Diddy and Build Me Up Buttercup.
Folk music legend and Mercury Music Prize nominee Eliza Carthy performs on 19 April and there are a host of great tributes to Little Mix, Fleetwood Mac, ABBA, ELO and more.
You can catch shows by well-known names from the comedy circuit Count Arthur Strong, Simon Brodkin and Dom Joly this Spring and the popular radio and TV broadcaster Jeremy Vine presents his show What The Hell Is Going On? On 29 April.
Lovers of a good play will love Revenge on Monday 4 April, described by The Stage as “A taut thriller full of twists and turns” and there are more dramas including I, Elizabeth and Howard’s End in March and April.
