Brindley pantomime regular Rebecca Lake is returning to the award-winning theatre this festive season as Princess Jill in Jack & the Beanstalk, from Wednesday 7 December to Sunday 8 January.

Rebecca started her training at the age of three at the Elizabeth Hill School of dance and drama in St Helens and went on from there to be given, at the age of 16, her first professional role as Cinderella in Bolton Albert Hall’s Christmas pantomime. She has travelled with the English National Ballet as a lead dancer to perform in a production of Swanning Around at the Royal Albert Hall in London and again representing Great Britain at the world Expo in Shanghai.

She has gone on to perform in many different pantomimes and musical shows all around the UK. She graduated with a High Honours Degree in Musical Theatre at Blackpool School of Performing Arts, and in 2016 she was very pleased to have won the title of Miss British Isles, where she was able to start her modelling carrier.

In the past few years, Rebecca has performed at the Great British Pantomime Awards, she was given the amazing opportunity to sing a duet with Robin Gibb and Lulu In aid of Prince’s Trust, and was honoured to be asked to perform in multiple concerts at the Liverpool Philharmonic with Britain’s Got Talent’s Beau Dermott, raising money for various charities.

Her pantomime credits include: Cinderella in Cinderella, Goldilocks in Goldilocks and the Three Bears (Bolton Albert Hall), Snow White in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Goldilocks in Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz (Blackpool North Pier), Slave of the Ring in Aladdin, Cinderella in Cinderella, Princess Aurora in Sleeping Beauty, Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Snow White in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (The Brindley Theatre, Runcorn). She is very excited to be back at The Brindley this Christmas!
