Roll up, roll up and explore the science behind the thrills and spills of the circus. As Doctor Ken takes you on a voyage of discovery investigating how performers make use of many scientific principles in their tricks and stunts at two Halton Borough Council community centres.

Find out why jugglers love gravity, how clowns use the force like a Jedi and why unicyclists need to keep moving to stay still. It’s science but not as you may know it!

Come along and join us as we balance on a tightrope, learn to juggle on the moon and explore the forces of other circus props. Put your science hats on as this is going to be fun.

The events take place on Tuesday 2 April, 2pm to 3pm at Upton Community Centre, Widnes and Wednesday 3 April, 2pm to 3pm. Castlefields Community Centre in Runcorn.

The event is a partnership between Halton Borough Council and Daresbury Laboratory.

It is for all ages 5+ to adults,

Tickets are now available at Upton and Castlefields Community Centres at only £1 per ticket.
