Widnes Market is hosting a student trading day this Thursday, 28 April, in conjunction with Riverside College and Cronton Sixth Form College.
Students from the various Business Studies courses will work on the outdoor market learning the tricks of the trade from some of the existing traders who will work alongside them offering advice and tips.
The students’ preparation, project and experience of the day will be part of their overall coursework. They will also present marketing projects they have been working on, and traders will be using all their experience and expertise to appraise their presentations.
The Mayor of Halton, Cllr Christopher Rowe, will also be visiting to chat to students about their studies and the products and services that they’ll have to offer.
Members of the public are welcome to join in and support the students on the day, so do pop down to the outdoor market between 9am and 4.30pm.
