The tennis courts at Victoria Park have been served up some ‘love’ from Halton Borough Council with a re-paint. This is the first phase of a three year programme to resurface the borough’s tennis courts.

They have been deep cleaned using high pressure jet washer and coated with specialist non-slip paint certified for use on tennis courts. The main court and outer court have been done in contrasting shades of green and the white lines have also been redone.

The courts are open for use with immediate effect.

Halton Borough Council’s Executive Board Member for the Physical Environment, Cllr Ron Hignett, said: “Victoria Park is a jewel in Halton’s crown. People come from neighbouring boroughs to enjoy it. We do what we can, within budget, to make sure it has the best facilities.”
