Halton Borough Council is holding a Town Hall Open Day in Saturday 3 December from 10am until 4pm in aid of the Mayor’s chosen charities, Child Bereavement UK and The Lets Go Stroke Club.

There will be various stalls – tombola, raffle, book stall, cupcake stall and of course Father Christmas himself will be in the grotto during the day handing out presents to visiting children.

Halton Borough Council Mayor Cllr Ged Philbin, said: “If  you have items that could be of use for the tombola or raffle, such as toys, bric-a-brac, or any items that could make up a Christmas food hamper, ie. Christmas cake, Christmas pudding, mince pies, coffee, tea, biscuits, chocolates, etc. they would be very gratefully received.”

Items can be dropped off either at Municipal Building for the attention of Kay Sparks, or at Runcorn Town Hall for the attention of John Whittaker.
