Wellington Street in Widnes will be closed from 3 August for four days to enable work on the Widnes Loops junction to take place.
This will also include the revocation of the one way system on Wellington Street to allow access to business.
A diversion route will be in place.
The work will be carried out by contractor Balfour Beatty, and Halton Borough Council will supervise the works.
