Last summer a temporary cycle corridor to connect residents to health, education and employment services was created in Halton under the Emergency Active Transport Programme.
Halton Borough Council is now consulting the local community on proposals to construct a permanent sustainable transport corridor along the busway from Halton Lea to Murdishaw Local Centre.
The proposed works would include a dedicated cycle corridor and highway improvements at the busway junctions with Palacefields Avenue and Barnfield Avenue, along with cycle sensors, signage and lighting. See map in link: https://www3.halton.gov.uk/Pages/traffic/cycling.aspx
