There will be northbound lane closures on the Silver Jubilee Bridge next week.
Contractors are finalising arrangements for cable inspections on SJB for which will need a northbound lane closure on the northern half of the bridge.
Inspections are planned to start on Monday 6 December and will likely take five days, within 9am to 4pm shifts, avoiding rush hours.
A Halton Borough Spokesman said: “We anticipate that the inspection team will need to access two to three cables per day, working northwards from the middle of the bridge.
“The traffic management measures will include two-way temporary signals, but we are aiming to keep the site area as compact as possible to minimise traffic disruption.”
