Come along to the launch of Widnes town centre’s new public artwork on Wednesday 8 April, 11:30am–2pm, at New Street (next to Boots and The Range).
At 12 noon the Mayor will officially open the artwork, Widnes of Change, by local artist Tony Mallon.
You can meet Tony, browse stalls, there will be arts and crafts, activities for children and families by Catalyst Museum team, special appearances by Kemik the Viking and a Widnes Vikings rugby league players, and performances from Halton Day Services Samba Band and The Far North.
