It’s National Table Tennis Day on Thursday (18 July) and there are special options to ping pong away the day at Halton Stadium.
Halton Table Tennis Club has a family session from 5pm to 6pm. There is a session for beginners from 6pm to 7pm and young people 7pm to 9pm. It’s free to new participants.
National Table Tennis Day is an annual celebration of the sport introduced by Table Tennis England in 2014.
It is a chance for the table tennis family to come together, have fun and promote all that is good about our sport – and to get more people playing.
Each year thousands of people take part in events at clubs, schools, business and town centres around England, while millions are reached on social media through the hashtag #TableTennisDay. The day has been featured on Sky Sports News and the BBC!
