Upton Community Café has been named Best Cafe in Widnes by discerning students who know a thing or two about good food and service!
The Council-run café at Upton Community Centre received the award from Riverside College for “Friendliness, cleanliness and great food” and was selected by the students who have been travelling round different cafes in Widnes.
The students said they always enjoy visiting the café and the centre and described the staff as having “welcoming spirits and kind hearts”.
Halton’s Community Centres Manager, Alison Watson, said “It is a privilege to receive this from Riverside College as Kelly Morris and our Community Centre staff in our café work so hard in their roles and offer great food as well as fantastic customer service.”
