As part of its ongoing response to the changing COVID-19 situation, Halton Borough Council has taken the decision to close all of its community centres to the public at 5pm on Friday 20 March, until Sunday 26 April.
These centres are:
Upton Community Centre, Bechers, Hough Green, Widnes
Ditton Community Centre, Dundalk Road, Widnes
Castlefields Community Centre, Village Square, Castlefields, Runcorn
Grangeway Community Centre, Grangeway, Runcorn
Murdishaw Community Centre, Barnfield Avenue, Runcorn
In addition, the Upton, Windmill Hill, Halton Brook and Ditton Children’s Centres will also close.
All existing activities planned in the centres have been cancelled.
We will take the decision to reopen the buildings based on the Government advice at the time.
