Popular pantomime star Andrew Curphey will once again be returning to the Brindley Theatre this festive season to play Silly Billy in Jack & the Beanstalk, which runs from Wednesday 7 December until Sunday 8 January.

Andrew has worked extensively, delivering theatre workshops and performing for more than 21 years. He has been able to develop himself as a committed theatre practitioner, performer and entertainer.

Fourteen years ago Andrew created the hugely successful Andrew Curphey Theatre Company. With more than 280 children and young people enrolled across evening theatre classes in various towns across Cheshire. Each year the company produce various theatrical showcases and musical productions. Andrew continues to teach classes, direct productions and manage the company. As a qualified teacher, Andrew’s work also includes delivering performing arts workshops in many local primary schools.

Andrew is also super excited to headline his very own solo theatre show in March 2023. Join Andrew as he takes to the Brindley stage with ‘Andrew Curphey LIVE’. An evening of good ol’ entertainment that is guaranteed to entertain the whole family.

Recent theatre credits include ‘Tinman’ in The Wizard of Oz (The Brindley Theatre & Albert Halls, Bolton), ‘Buttons’ in Cinderella (The Brindley Theatre), ’Fleshcreep’ in Jack and the Beanstalk (M&S Arena, Liverpool), ‘Muddles’ in Snow White (The Brindley Theatre). His Directing credits include ‘Opening of the Mersey Gateway Bridge’ presented to Her Majesty the Queen and the Duchess of Sussex.
