Runcorn Town Hall Open Day is taking place on Saturday 26 November, 10am–4pm – admission is free.

There will be various craft stalls, tombola and raffle stall, and of course Father Christmas will be in the grotto throughout the day.

Runcorn Community Choir, with Musical Director Jason Ellis, and the following schools will be singing in the Council Chamber:

10.30-10.50   Cavendish Academy

11.05 -11.15 St Michael’s Catholic Primary

11.40-12.00   Moore Primary

1.15-1.35       St Martin’s Catholic Primary

1.50-2.10      Gorsewood Primary

2.25- 3.00     The Holy Spirit Catholic Primary, and Runcorn Community Choir

Members of the Mayor’s Fundraising Team will be raising money for Widnes & Runcorn Cancer Support Centre and Halton Carers.

If you have any items that could be of use for the tombola or raffle, such as unwanted gifts, toys, bric-a-brac etc., or any items to make up a Christmas food hamper, ie. Christmas cake, Christmas pudding, mince pies, coffee, tea, biscuits, chocolates, etc., they would be very gratefully received.

Items can be dropped off either at Municipal Building, Kingsway, Widnes for the attention of Kay Sparks, or at reception at Runcorn Town Hall, Heath Road, for the attention of Joe Mather Burns.

All items would be required no later than Thursday 24 November.
