More than 140 older people enjoyed a ‘Wizard of Oz’ themed events across Halton at Grangeway Community Centre and Upton Community Centre. with food, courtesy of Quigley’s Bakery and musical entertainment, from singer Bexie Owen.
Next events are Monday 8 July at Grangeway Tuesday 16 July in Upton – With the theme being Elvis is in the building/50’s.
They are organised by Halton Borough Council’s Sure Start to Later Life Team.
